At a time when Illinois continues to serve as a critical access point for the nation, CAF sits at the center of this constellation of care – coordinating, resourcing, and strengthening each part to ensure people can access the abortion care they want, need, and deserve. During this event we will celebrate and honor the interconnected roles of clinics, philanthropy, and government.
For over 40 years, Chicago Abortion Fund (CAF) has worked to advance reproductive autonomy and justice by providing financial, logistical, and emotional support to people seeking abortion care. Grounded in the lived experiences of our callers, this event will demonstrate how care is made possible every day through deep collaboration and shared commitment to abortion access for all.
As the largest abortion fund in the country, CAF not only meets callers’ immediate needs through direct support, but also acts as a force multiplier – amplifying the impact of clinics, partners, and funders so the entire system can function at the scale this moment demands. We look forward to uplifting our incredible constellation of care and celebrating our collective effort to ensure abortion access for all at this critical time.
